How to use
Header settings collect everything in the site header: the logo, the main menu, quick links and a call-to-action button. Editors enter them once, and every page shows the same header in the page's language.
Where it is used
The header at the top of every page. A site with no header settings selected shows no header.
How to set it up
- Create Header settings in the settings.
- Select them in the start page's Header settings property, on the Header & footer tab.
- Fill in the properties below. Every property is stored per language except Display menu links in navigation.
- Logo: The site logo, shown in the header. SVG is recommended.
- Logo title: The title of the link to the start page.
- Display menu links in navigation: When on, the navigation shows only the links added to Menu, instead of the pages marked Show in navigation.
- Menu: The main menu, as a list of menu items.
- Quick links: Direct access to key areas of the site, separate from the main navigation.
- CTA button: A call-to-action button in the header.
Menu items
Menu items are created inside the header settings, in the order they should appear. They cannot be created anywhere else.
- Title (required): The text of the item in the main menu.
- Link: The main link of the item.
- Header and Description: Shown in the dropdown.
- Submenu items: The links of the dropdown. Each has a link text, a link URL and a description.
- Featured content: Content to highlight in the dropdown.
- CTA button: A button in the dropdown.
